We all know reddit gets special treatment with Google.
It seems to me that Google has sidestepped search by serving several links to reddit, leaving the searcher to do more searching on reddit.
What a waste of my time.

This sort of inbred "serps" is annoying. That's one reason why I use other search engines. :)

There is schema.org markup for forums that might be helpful.

As an aside, it amused me today to see that when you google "seo forum" one of the results is a Reddit thread titled "What is the best, most helpful, and active SEO Forum?" on r/SEO with loads of people responding saying how terrible r/SEO is.
