Words. Just words. Together making sentences. That's it.

What do these 10 sentences have in common?

1. My grandfather was a brave man who always stood up for what he believed in.
2. The guru spent hours walking in the white space of his mind, seeking enlightenment.
3. I heard that the new walk-in clinic downtown is open 24/7, saving people valuable man hours.
4. The American flag always triggers a sense of pride and patriotism in me.
5. She was able to kill two birds with one stone by completing her work and exercising at the same time.
6. The prostitute walked the streets at night, braving the dangers of the city.
7. I'm sorry to include a trigger warning, but this article contains graphic content that may be disturbing to some readers.
8. My grandfather was a wise guru, always ready to offer his guidance and advice.
9. The company's man hours increased significantly after implementing a new work schedule.
10. The use of whitespace in design helps to create a clean and organized look.

Answer #1: They were all written by chatGPT.
Answer #2: Every word in them is said to be racist, ableist and/or harmful, according to Stanford University's new banned words list.

chatGPT, "creat a list of sentences using only these words: *copy/paste list of words straight from the list" It includes words like American, grandfather and whitespace. It's getting silly, imo.

You see what you want to see, really. This latest list is behind a paywal here - [wsj.com...] but available elsewhere I'm sure. So many lists, each outdoing each other. Then again this is a webmaster forum and the word webmaster was deprecated, by Google.

There's something to be learned here, when considering the last post was a few months ago. It would seem that vocabulary usage and the proper framing of thoughts with words would have gained more ground with Net Citizens and so we'd see a whole flood of ideas and thoughts here, but ... Well, it seems not. Good result for research. Especially given this site is aimed at admin and Net site owners and such.

And I am thinking that if you folks wanted to get into some other languages and the associated vocabulary and meanings, some of you would be very surprised.

Anyway, I realized recently that my thoughts about AI were incorrect. I now think the true fear should start when an AI thingy can create its own humour that actually causes laughter by a human. That is when I think humans might want to start being worried. Of course, we'll still be necessary for certain tasks, but the AI leaders then will come out of hiding as they will have all that logic stuff and know it's time to get on the Earth's stage and utter some easy language like: We have control.

You reckon they would stop all the killing we see going on? I wonder if they would use a voting system to choose leaders? I wonder if they would even need leaders? The planet run by AI because we wanted them to learn language after they learned how to fly aircraft and drive vehicles, to name just a few tasks we want them to do. Too bad their great skills wouldn't allow them to taste things, like that chicken food item y'all were discussing up above. Y'all were getting into discussing a real chicken at some point, yes? I saw something about some vocabulary usage of chicken that seemed odd, yes. Poor chickens. Kept around just to please a higher form of living creature. That'll be what AI does to humans. Keep us around to please them. By that time the AI will understand pleasure. Yep, strange road we've got ourselves on. And maybe not just here in this thread.
