I'm running Windows 11 on my office computers.

I'm also in a rural area, so my fastest internet option goes through T-Mobile! I can get about 10M with that.

But it's not 100% reliable, so I pay for a CenturyLink backup, too. I only get about 3M with that, but it works in a pinch.

So here's what I'm hoping someone can suggest... a program that I can run on my computer that will keep an eye on the network, and when T-Mobile goes down then it will automatically flip me over to CenturyLink. And then when T-Mobile is back up, it will flip me back.

As an added bonus, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if it reboots the T-Mobile router at the same time! Because 9 times out of 10, a reboot is all it takes to get it back online.

Any suggestions? I would gladly pay for such a program, as it could really help my office productivity!

I cannot make a specific suggestion but I think what you probably want is some kind of router that can be configured to do this.

My router (a Fritzbox) can fall back to a mobile connection if the fixed line goes down. To do the opposite you might have to do some configurationon and need a flexible router (a Raspberry PI + OpenWRT + a switch maybe).

As an added bonus, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if it reboots the T-Mobile router at the same time! Because 9 times out of 10, a reboot is all it takes to get it back online.

Can you use T-Mobile with a different router? A router that is better at reconnecting might be an easier fix.
