I'm setting up my new phone. I've always had an eTrade widget on the home screen, but I don't love it; it doesn't connect to my eTrade account, it just lets me manually add symbols to watch. Worse, there's no way to show crypto that I use with Coinbase and aren't available on eTrade.

Any great suggestions for a home widget that would show the stock symbols I want AND the crypto? It would be wonderful if it could tie in with my accounts to automatically show anything I've recently bought without having to add it to a list separately, and even better would be if it let me see money made/lost in real time! But that might just be a dream.

Using anythng but the official widget offered by your trading account company will not have official protection and updates. Not recommended.

In theory, it wouldn't have to tie in to my account; if it just let me manually state how much I bought it for, how many shares, and when, then it could easily show my gain / loss.

The key, though, would be to show both my stocks and crypto combined. Right now I have the eTrade widget and it shows12 squares on the page representing 12 stocks, but I have closer to 100 in my portfolio! I don't want to JUST see the top 12 in a specific list, I would rather see a summary of my account or something. And, of course, it doesn't show my Coinbase account, so I still have to check it manually.

I started to set up a Forex.com account and use MT5, but I got busy and didn't finish. But still, I'd like to be able to see it, too.

It just feels like there should be an easier way than to have to manually log in to 3 separate apps.
