Microsoft said that it plans to introduce an antivirus product in the future, a market that it has largely left in the hands of security software makers such as Symantec Corp. SYMC.O and Network Associates Inc. NET.N .

I wonder why Micro$oft took such a long time to enter the anti-virus market. Don't remember well - but Windows 3.11 OS did come with an integrated Anti Virus software - correct?

A company which has a bad reputation in Computer Security is entering the AntiVirus field ... Very Funny :)

Its sad that Big Bill wants his piece on anything and everything under sun
