This is an odd one, my laptop locks up for around 3 minutes at certain times of the day (about 3 times) and broadly the same time, I have no idea as to why !
Anyone ?

Maybe your antivirus is incompatible or clashing with something else and freezing it when it tries to scan?
Has anything recently updated?

If your OS has "scheduled tasks" you can see whether there are tasks scheduled with timing that aligns with the freeze timing?

Mine slows down and the cursor jumps around rather than moving smoothly when it is checking for updates. It does this nearly every morning. That said, I suspect you have a similar situation.
