Some Services Offline FB, What'sApp and Instagram

I don't know how large the outage is, but a number of services are struggling this afternoon, and it's no surprise that most of the complaints are about FB, WhatsApp and Instagram. I'm seeing some other smaller services struggling.

Yep- just tried to waste time on FB and keep getting "network errors" in different browsers.

The irony is that I was going there to share an article about why FB's stock was down so much today. Who knew it would be the only thing about FB that was down?

I'm seeing a few other sites down, or struggling, but who knows at this stage.
Try a ping on FB and there's no chance.

I have not seen anything else down. Are the things that are down in someway linked to FB infrastructure or services?

As far as i'm aware, it's unlikely they are connected. It may just be a normal slow down causing others to be super slow.

I can imagine it's rather busy over there at One Hacker Way

facebook.com is for sale!

This domain is listed for sale at one of our partner sites .

No one I know, or ever will, could afford it though...
