Recent IE Critical Updates

Has anyone had any problems after installation?

I just yesterday downloaded the recent IE Cirtical updates (SP1) and the Cumulative patches that come after it.

Now my fonts all seem to be a little strange even on sites such as the BBC (and this one) and a lot of the images do not show up.

Has anyone else seen anything unusual after installation of these updates?

I wanted to let everyone know that I finally got this figured out but it was such an annoying headache I thought I should let you know how so if you come accross the prob this resolution may help you.

It turns out the conflict was not coming from a bad download of the updates but of a conflict in NIS 2003.

Basically, I read somewhere that in some browsers the auto-encode function may affect the way the pictures are loaded so I de-selected that.

Then I went into NIS 2003 and reset the firewall.

Now it works, pictures etc are all appearing properly.
