Ok, here we go ... bringing the discussion of mack [webmasterworld.com] about what's the best computer game ever [webmasterworld.com] quite off topic (sorry for that;) - which gave great insights into member's bad attitutes allready - i thought: what about starting a death match competition for WebmasterWorld members?

Here's the idea:

After seeing this thread growing and growing i'd like to just drop a quick idea fwiw: imagine running a death mach competiton over the net for WebmasterWorld members - could be a new entertaining event - something happening once a year or so? Sure, only supporters allowed to join, he, he, he. ;) I'd offer to host the server for such a event - fat bandwith guaranteed. If memory serves me right, googleguy is a doom / quake player, no!? Imagine ... >:]

Right now we have the following fighters per recruition date/time:

1) Yidaki (he, he, he)
2) pixel_juice
3) sinner_g (decision pending, or?)

Available games are: duke nukem, doom or quake. Discussions about what game are appreciated - but that's not the main question of this thread! No other options than the menitioned games!

Let the recruiting continue!

fyi: Things are not yet finally planned. This thread is just for the recruiting. Let's discuss about what game and what map we'll play, if we have enough fighters. However, i would like to keep things sorted, so condition to join is: Duke, Doom or Quake skills (ok, Unreal could be discussed also later - no other options. Period.)

I think we should use Quake 3. You could run a demo server so that even people without the game could use the demo and play. (You get 3 maps I think).

Also, I kick ass at Q3 ;)
