You Can get fake people; generated photos for less than $3.00, in the report on the NYT.

The generators use AI to create faces that are used for profiles.

I have to admit, having tried it, some of the pictures look familiar, however, one giveaway was an image that looked unreal, so it's not perfect, but, just hit refresh and, bingo, another face appears.

A very interesting effect, too.

Most scammers i've seen just steal other people's profiles pictures, paying nothing.

Though some companies I've dealt with might IMPROVE with funny little furry animal profile pics!

I took a picture of a beer cap which was recovered from the garden I tend to, washed it with soap. Fired my up Photoshop 7, erased the brand letters, gave it 'no colors mask' and stretched it so it is now elongated. Became somewhat of an anomaly that one would not use: An Oval-Cap.

Makes me think twice now when allocating time to compooters.... :)
