I get my fair share of spam in my business directory. But I had a laugh at one of today's attempts:

"Description: On attached excel sheet. Description were spun so each citation can have a different description."

.05 for honesty.
I was thinking more like -.05 for lazily copy/pasting without even paying attention to what's being copy/pasted. But that's what people get for using cheap, off-shored citation adding.

sometimes i get an email spam saying something like ... we are example.com seo services, we've just done a seo report of your site, [attached or click here], if you'd like to remedy the issues we can help!

but they haven't even looked at (or even auto checked the size of) the report because it is totally empty, as my server has blocked their bot!

... very, very occasionally i get an email saying something like ...

you do not rank in google! this is because your website seems to be blocking bots! we can help you resolve this issue, get in touch ... blah, blah, blah

I seem to get a lot of so called professional SEOs who patently haven't looked at our website and write from a gmail address. As far as I am concerned, if they don't mention the URL of their own site (a professional domain name) so I can see their own work, their email is immediately deleted.
