Hello,

Today, i keept getting emails (20+) from a hacker claiming he installed a RAT malware, and took my data, and so on, as well as recorded me with my webcam, etc etc...

What I noticed is that, he was very pedagogue, is that the right word in English? He took great care to explain what a "RAT" is, and how it works, and even encourage reading more by searching at Google (he might be sponsored by Google, I guess), ...

Then he wants to get paid in cryptomoney (not bitcoin, another one), so he explains what this is, and how to buy this virtual currency, with links to sites proposing this, and again to use Google to find more.

Then again, he gives his wallet ID, explains what to do with it, and also t be careful with line break because the ID is long, and also that it's case sensitive. He also explains what case sensitive means.

He also gives instruction on how to create a wallet to send directly.

:)

Ah!

So, just one question, you said you wanted 900 dollars, but which dollars? Because, there is at least 20 countries which named their currency "dollar" , including "Australia, Brunei, Canada, Hong Kong, Jamaica, Liberia, Namibia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan and the United States" (source: wikipedia). And they do not have the same value... so how much is it in Euro ?

I'm in a good mood today, Liberian dollars are fine. That would be about 4 euro ;)

If you want to be hair-splittingly accurate, “pedagogue” is a noun; the adjective is “pedagogical” (or possibly “pedagogic” with a different shading of meaning) but here I think you’re aiming for “pedantic”.

even encourage reading more by searching at Google
Gosh. How can he be so confident Google won’t bring up {his name} and “scam” in close conjunction?
