Sharing an email folder

When someone reports something on my site, I have the program send an email to report@example.com. That redirects to a Gmail account, which all of my moderators IMAP to and share. This lets them see what's been reviewed or deleted, avoiding too much overlap.

But now that we've switched over to Outlook (still not sold on it, BTW), the second IMAP account shows up underneath the primary IMAP account, so it's always below the fold. Like, WAY below the fold!

So the question is, can you guys suggest a way that we might all share a single folder on my primary email account, instead of an entirely different IMAP? I know that I could let everyone IMAP to my entire account and then just unsubscribe from every folder except for this one, but I'd rather not give everyone access to all of my emails... just this one folder.

FWIW, I've found a lot of 3rd party apps and extensions (cloudHQ seems to get top billing on Google), but they appear to only work if you log in to Gmail.com to view the shared label. That's no good, I need everyone to IMAP to it.

Assuming you are using Office 365 and not the desktop version with an on-premise Exchange: If you click with your right mouse button on a sub-folder in Outlook in your account a pop-up menu appears. The last menu choice is "Permissions" and opens a new sub-window. This is where you can add access for other people to that folder.

This assumes your moderators have also an Outlook account with IMAP access. IMAP can be quirky in Microsoft products because they prefer their MAPI protocol, so this might not work as expected.

I am using 365, but not Exchange... I'm just IMAPing Gmail. I checked, and I can't find a Permissions tab... that would have been cool :-(

It may be dependent on the subscription you have. I use an "Office 365 Business Essentials" and basically only for Outlook, but it is able to manage multiple users and sharing. That might be different on other subscription versions.

I gotcha. I just have Office 365 Home... Business was more expensive and on the outside didn't seem to have any features that I needed, so I just stuck with Home. Oh well :'-(
