Microsoft has forgotten to renew an authentication certificate for Microsoft Teams. Whooops!

We've determined that an authentication certificate has expired causing, users to have issues using the service. We're developing a fix to apply a new certificate to the service which will remediate impact. Further updates can be found under TM202916 in the admin center.

This is not the first time. It happened also in February 2013 when an Azure certificate expired.

Since I switched my sites to Let's encrypt with automatic renewal enabled, I almost forgot the hassle it was to every few years generate CSRs in the right format, upload them to the provider, and then distributing the keys and certificates.

Good move.
The only error I once made was having two forms of payment expire at the same time. Silly me. I changed it so that the forms of payment all have different expiry dates.
