Friday, the yesterday that was, I spent in a used bookstore... spent, yes :)

6-hours. It was totally engrossing: the books, the conversations about books and authors, the addiction well fed. :)

An almost subliminal medley of music (they sell used recordings as well) not quite absorbed by the towering rows of books helped calm the frazzled me.

Barring server catastrophe I shall spend these hectic shopping days in quiet repose with a number of printed books and let the digital world automagically rack up visits and conversions.

Now to the critical question of whether cold eggnog or hot chocolate...

just that many years ago, i had a stall next to a guy at camden market who was obsessed ... and i was sure he said they'd never had a number 1.

but i probably got confused about that, he was strange in many ways!

Bite your tongue ;) For about half a year in college I had two roommates who were deadheads, and that’s as close as I would ever want to get. Closer, in fact.
