It's quite a hot summer this time over here and it looks like I am addicted to coke. I drink atleast 2 cans of coke everyday!

Is that bad for health? Any doctors turned SEOs around here?

As for the coke, I have heard that they pour it on the highway to remove bloodstains from roadkill.

When I used to race slot cars (when I was very young - must be nearly 100 years ago now), it was used to clean the rust off old track. A few litres of coke in a bucket, throw in the track and it would come out like new the next day.

I don't think you have much to worry about. 2 cans a day isn't much at all.

In the summer I usually drink around 6-8 cans of soda (Mt. Dew, Pepsi, Pepsi Blue, Dr. Pepper, and Code Red are my drinks of choice) and sometimes a lot more. My day usually starts off with a bottle of Mt. Dew.

I heard if you put a chicken bone in a cup of it it will dissolve it in a matter of days(weeks?).

I've heard that Coke is such a strong acid that it would taste like vinegar if it weren't for all the sugar it contains too.

What I mean is that if you stop eating every thing that contains a bit of some unhealthy ingredient, you won't have much left to eat.

Oh pooh... Real food tastes a million times better than the over-sweetned, artifically flavored, processed, pre-packaged garbage they try to put off as "food" these days. (In my OH SO HUMBLE opinion of course)

(Now mind you, I include grass-fed beef, butter, cream, etc., as healthy, natural foods. Oh, and beer too. But only if it's the kind of beer you can't see through clearly, if at all. ;) )

After a few years of not eating fast food, or most processed food, etc., none of it even tastes good to me anymore.

I drink 7-8 Pepsi One's per day.

Someone told me that the chemicals in it will ruin your short-term memory, but I can't remember who...

lol!

I used to drink 4-6 cans of soda/day. After about 2 years I got bad cavities. And I'd never had cavities before. Add to that that I was getting fat, and I had to quit.

Now I'm on the Atkins diet. Pretty good, but I do miss the soda! When I need some caffeine, I drink some coffee. Probably average 1 cup/day, so it's not all that bad. Now I'm off the soda, off the sweets, not doing so much damage to my teeth, and losing weight. My wife's happy with that last point, so I'm happy too.

Just about everyone here at the office is addicted to Mt. Dew. As long as I keep the refrigerator stocked, everyone is happy.

I know if I drink too much Coke (2-3 cans per day) within a couple of weeks, I get to the point where I just can't drink it.

Vibgyor , 2 Cans is nothing ... Here in US its a normal average coke intake ...

I am not a addict , but i drink atleast 2 cans a day .I believe it may be a problem only if it goes more than 5/day.

But i was concerned with the calorie i take so now i switched to diet coke , dont tase as good as the original but i can live with it!

Our goverment show in TV that we should not have more than 10 'spoons' of sugar each day and 1 can of coke consist of 9 'spoons' of sugar!

I got myself a botol of redwine yesterday. Forgot that I don't have the opener! Bought one early today, broke it immediately when I just use some force on it. Go to another store and bought another better opener. Opened my wine and enjoy it! :)

Used to drink, Coke, etc...switched to OJ which was much healthier, but a half gallon a day starts to pack on the pounds. Recently switched to Green Tea. No calories, massive antioxidents (10x that of OJ), really provides a lift but is an acquired taste.

Agree with Mivox - One you drop the fast food and softdrinks for a while and eat real food, that stuff just seems gross and its easy not to eat it unless there is no other option.

Never touch the stuff myself in fact the only fizzy drinks I drink is beer.

If you put a dirty old coin in a glass and pour fizzy coke over it, leave it over night it should be clean by morning!

I used to drink a lot of Coke (and Pepsi) for a long time and never had any cavities (not bad for someone who doesn't drink milk, huh).

Only reason I now drink less of this is taste. Sometimes I just enjoy Coke, sometimes something else, it's like phases. ATM I prefer water, period.

Same holds for all kinds of fast and/or processed food. I don't like Big Macs, but I love the Burger King version (no, I'm not affiliated to BK in any way). Just a question of taste. Eat what you like to eat, drink what you like to drink, ... and you will lead a happy life not worrying about unimportant things.
