Anyone that uses a smartphone will know the sometimes onerous acceptances users have to go through when installing a new app. I don't install many, but when I do i've often stopped the install process because of the onerous access wanting granted.
It seems developers have been using ways to go way beyond the acceptance and in trackers it's been "stalking" users.
There's an issue with stalking in a way, but developers stalking users just doesn't seem fair play either.
Google has removed seven apps from the Play Store for privacy violations.
Google said its policy prohibits commercial spyware apps and encourages people to report any apps that violate its standards.
It just seems odd that these apps managed to get through, or, perhaps I shouldn't be surprised.
