I recently got an email from a friend living in another part of the state, with subject line “You Can’t Make This Up”. Seems she got notification for one of those mandatory training sessions that all government employees have to attend, no matter how long you’ve already been working there or what department you’re in. First item on the agenda is {talk on some boring subject} by Mary Jane Soandso. Next item is ... wait for it ... “Marijuana and the Federal Employee”.
