Here's hoping it works/survives better then the Samsung Galaxy Fold phone...
And I'm not being facetious.
Although rather than folding I've always (a decade is forever, right?) thought a scroll design would be great.

Remember, this is a prototype and has a way to go before production.
The link to gizmodo shows it as a traditional device, as well as a tablet.
Foldable technology might be looking for a successful application.
