HOW GOOGLE AND AMAZON GOT AWAY WITH NOT BEING REGULATED

Seems like these stories are coming out more lately.. likely due to all of the the attention garnered by fines levied by the EU against Apple - 15B for tax evasion, Google - 7B for anti-trust violations, Qualcomm - 1.2B for anti-trust violations.

Is this news too little too late for those startups that may want to compete?

That's a good read, I wonder if the book puts forth any suggestions on moving forward.

Great article. The examples of failures to enforce existing competition (anti-trust in the US) law are good, so are the example of blatant anti-competition cheer leading as an excuse for rentier capitalism.

I love fairy tales!

(none of this means anything until the enablers wake up ... but that's a different fairy tale)
