(I didn't know where to post)

Done!

My main site reached the "symbolic" threshold of 50% of traffic from mobile devices.

One year ago, it was 30 / 70 (mobile/desktop).

At the beginning of September, I received the notification that this site was now in the mobile first index. This resulted into an immediate ratio of 40 / 70.

Now, it's been 7 days, my traffic is 50 / 50 .

My desktop traffic continues to slightly increase, so it's the mobile one which is increasing much faster.

And your question is?

Be happy your traffic is going up.

Don't know why this thread is in Foo, but different niches likely have different platform ratios of traffic.

I strongly work Social Media as a traffic source. Social Media is typically an app based Mobile dominated environment, so my Mobile traffic has been outperforming Desktop for a couple years.

I assume this is traffic coming from all sources. If that's the case, this is excellent news. Can you break it down into the sources?

One metric that will give your stats a false positive that Desktop usage is increasing is bots.
