Wonder what this will cost all the online ecommerce business. I just can't fathom what it would cost just so kids can't cheat on an exam. It would seem logical for phones and other electronic devises to be taken when they enter the exam room.

Way to go, Algeria. Every time I meet a “do my homework for me” search query,* I find myself wondering all over again why they don’t simply buy a mail-order diploma. It’s got to be cheaper.


* Also, sadly, “teach my class for me” queries. I find word-for-word, comma-for-comma identical questions asked year after year after year.

I think it is more telling that urging students to actually be--er--students requires the shutting off a a national internet resource is not only reasonable but necessary. Go figure.*
