AT&T Completes its Acquisition of $85.4 Billion, Time Warner Inc.

It's finally passed court approval and now, AT&T has announced it has completed its $85.4 billion acquisition of Time Warner Inc., which includes Warner Bros., HBO and Turner channels.

Randall Stephenson, chairman and CEO of AT&T, said in a statement. “We’re going to bring a fresh approach to how the media and entertainment industry works for consumers, content creators, distributors and advertisers.”

In a year or so, 5g will be in operation (I already have a 5g router & TV.) 5g is faster and can handle more data than WiFi. AT&T's version of 5g is not really 5g. They are just using the name to fool their customers: [cnet.com...]

I do not use AT&T's mobile network. I did at one time, but it was awful with extremely bad support (at that time.) I wonder if AT&T will show any connectivity bias with letting users from other networks stream their TV apps, especially with Net Neutrality being questionable.
