Russia - is it europe or worldwide?

quick q for anyone who knows about the travel/insurance biz.

am trying to get insurance for a trip to russia, my online options seem to be choose: worldwide, north america or europe as a destination.

is russia in europe(for insurance purposes) - i think it is, but does anyone know,

please no guesses! this being a sunday i can't just ring an agent

From my knowledge and research.

Russia is BOTH in Europe and Asia, different cities from what I recall, a bit like Turkey.

Just asked my brother who works in insurance who says
about 80% of applications always state "Europe".

just double check on the cities that you are travelling to.

thanks for that shak, i've found one which actually quoted east/west of the urals as being europe/asia

but everyone else has been ambiguous

anyway - forward to st petersberg!
