Intel has developed Vaunt, its smart glasses, which look far less geeky than Google Glass, and are far less intrusive. They are devised to provide information, rather than to gather data, ala Google Glass. "From the outside, the Vaunt glasses look just like eyeglasses. When you’re wearing them, you see a stream of information on what looks like a screen — but it’s actually being projected onto your retina."
