Three people admit to creating the Mirai botnet in 2016 which ultimately infected more than 300,000 computers with the aim of carrying out DDoS attacks and click fraud.

The Mirai malware is responsible for coordinating some of the largest and most disruptive online attacks the Internet has ever witnessed.
