Yes, somebody's been experimenting with a broadband connection over wet string, and they managed to get 3.5mbps.

If this was April 1 i'd be sceptical, but, no, they got it working.

There's no intention to make this a commercial project.

Would not work in my Neck of the Pipes, too many old-timers pushing old-dirty-dipers and such down the pipe; based on a real life experience of witnessing a neighbors grandpa trying to flash-down a spoiled bucket of "Sweet Italian Sausage With Penne Pasta" down a John, True Story.
