Gozilla download client

I have a friend who has installed this but now has problems

Recently i dled GoZilla Evaluation version just for a trail, anyways no probs while that was workiing. Then yesterday the timeframe runs out, i've unstalled and for some wonderful reason i cant dl anything. I've tried different mirrors to dl off, nothing works. When i click on a dl link all it does is refresh the page..

Any ideas how to fix this, i would like to dl something sometimes soon :\

I thought this would be the best place to get to the bottom of this :) Is gozilla related to gator? Isnt that stuff a no-no?

Depends - the free version of GoZilla is adware supported so yes it's gator-esque. However its free and to some people that's all that matters.

Personally I'd try downloading a new demo version (possibly from a different machine), changing the settings to remove browser integration and then uninstalling it. Oh and AdAware your system after you're done just to make sure they took all their stuff with them when they uninstalled :)

My 2c says that GZ is a pointless application at the best of times, it was buggy when I last used it and they over-charge for what is a half-day worth of coding.

There are a number of free download agents out there which are just as good (although not quite as good eye-candy) as GZ.

If you can get a decently stable shareware application for $5 or $10 then I'd take that over some of the commercial junk any day.

Thanks :) I'll have to email him adaware since he can't download it :P Hopefully that fixes the problem
