What's up with people posting videos of static images on social media these days? If you see a sign you like, take a picture of it, not a video.

Are we dealing with people who don't know what the buttons on their smartphone are for, so they just click one at random? Or possibly smartphone programmers who want to make things "easier" for the user, even if it increases the chance of incorrect use? I'm strongly reminded of the well-meant decisions made by browser programmers in recent years.
