U.S. TSA Now Requires Anything larger than a Smartphone Scanned Separately

Anyone travelling around the U.S. via air will now need to have every piece of electronics larger than a Smartphone to be scanned separately. Whilst it's inconvenient, it's just doing the same as you've always done with your laptop. Be ready for slightly longer lines.

Very soon I will end my flying years: Inconvenient, pushy people, pushy airline staff and lousy peanuts.

I've likely been everywhere I wanted to go. If I can't drive there or use public transportation to get there, it's probably not worth going.

Thank goodness I don't fly (once back on shore after that overseas adventure which took place 1961-1975), so whatever TSA wants to do to flight travelers is merely news reports to me, such as this, which cause me no worries or concerns. I won't volunteer to be groped. :)

When they (that thingie that government likes to do) start doing the same on inter-city buses and local trains we might have a different conversation (if not outright revolt) from the wheat and chaff crowd.
