The company behind that robotic vacuum cleaner, roomba, wants to sell maps of your home that are acquired via the top-of-the-range cleaners.

Why does this make me think of the original Mission Impossible where Jim is provided with an envelope showing the plan of a building.

Not that I have a robotic vacuum cleaner, but this has put me right off the idea.

The whole world is going crazy wanting to track everything and sell the data.

How does it know the difference between a wall and a piece of furniture?

Seem to recall that either the Amazon or the G home product had a "style scan" function that took photos of you and put them on the web for folks to critique your "dress style". How's that for invasive? (I suspect the idiot user had to say "okay" somewhere along the line)

Didn't last very long.
