Amazon, Kickstarter, Reddit and Mozilla Stage Net Neutrality Protest

A number of high profile online businesses are to stage a day of protest over net neutrality rules to oppose the FCC which is currently working to undo the regulations passed by the previous administration.

On July 12, the companies and organizations are expected to change their websites to raise awareness of the FCC effort, which is aimed at deregulating the telecom and cable industries. Mozilla, for example, will change what users see on their screens when they open a new browser window.

Look out for changes in some Firefox, which may confuse some if they are not aware, and think their browser is hijacked by malware.

Won't do any good though. Americans, and all who use sites in the USA, are all about to see the internet change significantly. Still, I commend these companies for standing up to their values.
