Are you superstitious?

Before visiting the figures of yesterdays affiliate income, I light a candle, pick the right spoon for sugar, pick the right cup, make coffee in a certain way, clean the ashtray, light a cigarette, sit in a special position on my chair, have a speial order of logging in, checking, moving on...

Relaxing my routines would make life easy, and probably not affect income.

But why take any risks...

I was gonna say probably... but lawman's response made me think twice.

I don't just break the chain by ommission... I flat out refuse to send on any email, however touching the content, that has an "if you break the chain" or "Susie didn't send it on within 24 hours and her cat died" at the end.

On the other hand... my offsider and I were discussing "things" the other day, and we both discovered that we are uncomfortable and disoriented with the new supermarket in town because the aisles run the wrong way - perpendicular rather than parralel to the checkouts. Nothing superstitious about it though.. it's just a "thing" we have.

I lived at 666 Circle Drive for 12 years. I don't like black cats though, not because I think they are unlucky, simply because I don't like cats. ;)

I am, ulstrup your not alone in having seemingly pointless routines to do things. I try my best to avoid bad karma. Im a firm beleiver in the threefold rule.

So id like to take this opportunity to say what lovely people you all are. :)

Not really supersitious, but I would never look at my daily horoscope in the morning. I'm certain it would influence my behaviour. So I just look at it in the evening to see if it was anywhere near the truth (mostly not).

Either than that, I often touch wood (mostly knocking on my head ;)).

I am really really suprstitous if there is no other right word to describe ...

I read horoscope daily/monthly (especially susan miller's AstrologyZone ) ... schedule website launching around lucky dates (sometimes i miss the bots because of this!) , make the number of alphabets in my domains numerologically correct (if possible) etc etc ...

Ya , i am educated with a Engineering BS and business diploma :)

My late father was so superstitious and a fisherman whenever he heard this saying or even saw any of the mentioned keywords he used to refuse from sailing!
<saying>
Did you hear about the Priest that chased the Rabbit around the Salmon bothey on the Pig's back first thing on a Sunday morning!
</saying>

Or perhaps it was just a good excuse to stay home and goto the pub! ;)

Not superstitious at all.

Our graphic designer at work used to work for a magazine. When the person who wrote the horroscopes left, he did them. Completely made them up with generic information.

Makes you think twice about what you read.... ;)

After a recent weekend together, some person said to me: "I'm really glad you're a dragon (in the chinese horoscope). If you had been a horse, I wouldn't have wanted anything to do with you!"

Say what?!?
Ok, it was the wrong moment to complain about anything at all, so I tried to just smile understandingly... ;)
