If you can't take your face out of your smartphone?

We've all seen people with their heads bowed and faces in their smartphones, merrily oblivious to the world around them as they walk along.
It seems the smart people in Holland have devised a special light which displays at crossings and shows up on the ground showing when it's safe to cross. That way, smartphone users don't need to look up from their important activity. ;)
Risky, imho.

hehehe, yes, agreed.
Life is more valuable than the latest FB update. There's no real comparison. Keep a lookout!

There are more ads on that autoexpress page than I've ever seen on one page before!

When I come down to the lobby in my commercial building, there are always a half-dozen zombies with their nose in their phone. Like Pavlov's dogs, they hear the elevator door open and march forward... never looking up to see if anyone is in the elevator trying to come out. This is every day!
