i'm doing an alphabetical quiz A-Z for new year, the theme is geek/geeks/geekiness/technology etc

i'm really looking for an: O, Q and Y!

eg. beginning with those letters ... either a tv show, movie, tech object, real person, character, actor, idea, scientific instrument
anything really that is either geeky, tech related etc! anything, tech, sci-fi, books, vampires, supernatural, music etc etc

any ideas much appreciated nomatter how corny or obscure.

(Y) ottabyte
A yottabyte (YB) is a unit of digital information storage denoting the size of data. It is equivalent to a quadrillion gigabytes, 1,000 zettabytes or 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 bytes.

Just a quickie technology thought...

How easy do you need the questions to be? Here are three quite easy ones:

Q: What instrument would you use to observe changes in an electrical signal? A: An oscilloscope.
Q: What theory attempts to explain the behavior of subatomic particles? A: Quantum theory.
Q: Which company is known both for its electric pianos and its motorcycles? A: Yamaha.
