How well do the USB3 HDMI Adapters work? Do they drive ok with win 7 or win 10?

From my own experience with the one I have, it still depends on if the video card on the system can handle the extra work of another monitor.

They do. Just be sure to download and install the drivers for the device! That sets resolution etc. (not the video card).
