See the first transporter in action. See the prototype of Hyperloop, even before it was and Elon Musk climbed on (Heinlein did it "first" in books"). See strange worlds. See the inspiration for Star Trek, Star Wars, and Captain Proton.

I speak of the 12 part serial from 1939 BUCK ROGERS with Larry "Buster Tarzan" Crabbe in the lead. Can be found at a google property that contains the letters y and t

This serial is more fun than Tom Corbett or Space Angel or (wait! Have I revealed my age? Drat!)

As some may remember I queried your music while coding. I also code while watching things like Buck Rogers (or Independence Day or When Worlds Collide, best not to admit the odd chick flick or two...).

If old fun you know is on screen you also when to stop typing and watch for a few moments then back to the keyboard.

Do admit I generally do this during database insert, updates and re-indexing... but your mileage may vary.

(BTW, you can find all four of the FLASH GORDON serials as well ... same lead actor playing comic strip heroes ... and did a Tarzan film, too).

When I was about 8, I can remember going to the Saturday matinee. Admission was 25 cents. There was always a serial or two before the main movie, often it was Flash Gordon.

At that age, and that time in history, this was cutting edge stuff. I loved it.

For unwinding the brain the experts claim trepanation works best.

Try it some time, it's mind expanding... literally!
