AI has come a long way, and there's more to go. However, it still has a long way to go when taken out of its specialism.

The Singularity approaches, and it stirs in me, mostly thoughts of leisure activities, like kitesurfing. Spaceflight too, but just for fun. Hedonism baby! I've been thinking my 3rd grade teacher was a liar, all that nonsense about the robots doing all the work, but maybe she was right, just missed on timing. :-) Somebody program them to worship human hedonism please. Cuz this could go badly otherwise.
