I saw this on the news today and thought it could be a great system for many people that struggle remembering the plethora of passwords, and the weakness of password systems.
Fingerprint detection has improved considerably over the years, and the voice recognition just seems a great idea that should have been rolled out sooner. Perhaps the technology wasn't viable until now.
What'd be great would be a common system between the banks, instead of one having system A, and another having system B.
Of course, it won't stop fraudsters using the most common methods of extracting money by fooling the customer into thinking they are genuine bank employees.
HSBC is launching voice recognition and touch security services in the UK in a big leap towards the introduction of biometric banking.
