One of the latest malware packages, Dridex ((also called Bugat or Cridex), is proving to particularly successful, with an estimated $100 Million stolen so far. As usual, it's delivered as a document that users open. We all know to be careful about attachments, so that leaves us to remind our friends and relatives that aren't so savvy.

At least one arrest has been made, last month, and on Tuesday night the US department of justice gave details of the arrest. It said: “Andrey Ghinkul, aka Andrei Ghincul and Smilex, 30, of Moldova, was charged in a nine-count indictment unsealed today in the western district of Pennsylvania with criminal conspiracy, unauthorised computer access with intent to defraud, damaging a computer, wire fraud and bank fraud. Ghinkul was arrested on 28 August 2015 in Cyprus. The US is seeking his extradition.” Dridex Banking Malware Proving to be Virulent [theguardian.com]

If you don't have Microsoft office installed..it cannot attack you..
so , as usual, it depends on your OS, and what you are running as software..

Hmm, don't totally understand it but it looks like keystroke encryption might help.
