This was an important set of files (pictures and other stuff-including word.doc and .xls stuff. Nearly 50Meg of stuff.)
I was at a loss as to how to move this stuff from my laptop to my main PC. Yes, I have a local wireless 'network', but the computers don't 'talk' to one another. (My wife's job to get that going...but that's another story)
Anyway, I had an odd idea:
Move the files to my digital camera and then download to my main PC!
And it worked!
Try it...you'll love it!
Any other neat tricks for a digital camera out there?
dont know about tricks yet :)
However I am off to buy a digital camera this week, I think I am missing out on WAY too much fun without it.
I always end up in strange places, so would like to capture the memories for later years in life.
Have put a request in to accounts to authorise it for business use :)

Cool idea, ScottM - how did you copy the files? Does the camera memory card appear as a drive? I've only used the built-in software for photo transfer, and I've never noticed an "upload data files" option... :)
