RIP Yogi Berra

Berra played in more World Series games than any other major leaguer, and was a three-time American League Most Valuable Player. For many, though, he was even better known for all those amusing "Yogi-isms." "It ain't over 'til it's over" is among eight of them included in Bartlett's.

He lived on circular court with a single entry point from the outside road network. So, on embarking on his road a fork was first encountered. Taking either direction brought you to his home. (an acquaintance visited him a few times there.)

One of the greats has gone to the great stadium in the sky.

In this "game of life", the "fat lady has sung" and followed his own advice: "When you come to a fork in the road, take it."

What Berra represented not only in the The Game, but in Life, was top shelf wrapped in a jovial and droll fashion. He will be missed.
