Heck, I remember him from Sands of Iwo Jima, The Lone Ranger, Operation Pacific, etc. Then again, I might be a little older than some of you here.
Great talent, one of the best character actors who "starred" in many great films over the years, often uncredited.

I saw him in a Columbo episode the other day. Jack Cassidy played the bad guy. Episode was "Murder By The Book"

I remember him from Adam-12 when I was a kid. And in a few films and TV shows since then.

When you're a kid you don't often realize what actually makes a very deep life impression and Route 66 did that. Finally checked driving it off my bucket list 50 years after first seeing the show.
