It seems that one of the world's largest food producers let a domain expire. The domain was originally used with a QR code in a competition, but after only a couple of years someone let it slide, and now an adult site has snapped the domain up. That happens all the time, however, it's not so good in this case because the competition and QR code would have appeared on products that appeal to children.

It was a hot version of the sauce at least. Suggestion was made to redirect through a domain that is stable - but that misses the point, you need to host on a domain that is going to be around. I'm not at all surprised by this, in fact it's amazing it doesn't happen more often.
