It sounds like USPS is getting into e-mail delivery.

Sometimes emails get stuck in queues for long times.

A cold start on a mail server has been known to dislodge these antiques - once saw one delivered that was 4 years old!

Maybe they have a 10 month waiting list?

Like Hoople I would check the date first although late delivery isn't the problem that it used to be when I first started using email.

When i used to run e-mail services I did have the odd problem with the server stalling. Obviously, I noticed it the next day, but it did happen.

Ahhh, well, that message I received is now deleted, and we'll never know more.

If it wasn't the Christmas message i probably wouldn't have noticed it.
