Somebody had to tell him one of his strings was out of tune. :)

I was surprised at his guitar choice. As often as not he plays an American Standard Stratocaster - the white one with the rosewood fret board that you've seen. The guitar he played here was one that he and I built several weeks ago. Strat style body/neck (maple fret board)/bridge (American Standard). But the pickups are Lace Sensors - single coil but fatter sound than Strat single coils. He's played it on various songs during a set, but never for an entire set.

Last night Matt's band played a record shop that hosts local talent on a regular basis. No video or audio recording. But, take my word for it - this was their best show ever. They played songs I was familiar with and songs I'd never heard before. It was a great show with great audience participation. The band has chemistry.
