I hate bank holidays because...
Im always working, when everyone else i know is at home.
The roads are always busy, so when i try to get to work im late. When i try to get home im even later, due an army of caravans blocking my main route home... thats right MY main route, if im at work why should anyone else have fun?
Theres no cash in the cash machines, so now i have to wait until tommorrow. I could go to the shop and get cash back, but i cant do that because the nearest shop with anywhere near modern epos facilities is 10-15 minutes away from the office, and in todays traffic thats gonna be 3-4 hours away.
I always have to answer the telephone on bank holidays, becasue theres no-one else here to do it for me.
I have to take the tapes off site on bank holidays becasue theres no-one else to so it, which puts a tremendous weight on my pockets becasue i dont have a bag. :(
I think that just about covers it.
But i can say that the positive side to coming to work this morning was reading Shaks post about drinking tea with salt rather than sugar. LOL!
Im glad that has happened to someone other than myself, TIP: never let work colleugues, who have a disliking to you, make you a drink.
