scene: kitchen
time: 12.30am

Not feeling very well (throat infection) I thought I would go and treat myself to a cuppa Tea and a slice of Marble Cake.

Anyway after carefully magaing the start of the task, and following previous threads on how to make the perfect cup, I proceed to put the sugar in, unfortunately it is empty.

so as always I open the cupboard, take out the steel tin, and pour the sugar into the bowl.

then take 2 spoons of suggar and stir it in the tea.

I must say it was probably 1 of my finer attempts, as the colour and brewing was just right. pour my milk and head off into the lounge for that well deserved Marble Cake.

So you can imagine my SURPRISE of the 1st gulp and realising that the Sugar is in fact SALT. and hot water > Milk > Salt just dont go down too bloody well.

as a protest I have emptied the now so called salt-bowl, left my cup on the dining room table, and walked upstairs to sulk.

furthermore I am NOT going to make another cup now, and am in 2 minds whether to wake the rest of the family to find the culprit behind the sugar>salt swap.

any thoughts?

Done that once in a coffee chop... put salt in a latte. didnt taste to good.

I would leave it to see who else falls victim. Im sure that will make you feel a lot better, also the salt might be good for your through infection.

Leave it and see who doesn't fall victim.
