That's just a little bit more clunky than Google Glass.

That aside, it seems there are many more businesses now looking at wearable technology.

A hitherto obscure maker of memory chips and network equipment, ChipSip, has nabbed Computex's Best Choice award for a pair of smart glasses that aim to steal the market away from Google Glass.Rival To Google Glass Shows Off $500 Smart Glasses [bbc.co.uk]
ChipSip touts its ability to download Android apps direct from Google's Play Store via SiMEye's user interface. By contrast Glass requires an owner to first download an app via another Android device before it can be transferred to the eyewear.

And SiMEye can also capture video in 1080p, four times the resolution of it rival.

It's competition that creates a healthy marketplace. And, brings the prices down oftentimes. It's always good to have choices. Does anyone have a pair of these smart glasses? I'd like to hear first hand about whether they are worth the investment in innovation.

Forget the clunky glasses- when are we going to just go straight to retina implants?

Maybe the implant will be free, but you'll have to pay to get all those annoying ads removed. :)

Just wait until Google Glasses are free with an ad in your face every 30 minutes of usage :-) Don't laugh, it might come to that.
