Dealing with libel on Yelp.

I've already reported in under contact us "questionable content," but I've not needed to contact yelp before today. The review is both libel and factually untrue. The libel is against a private individual and language used is darkly colored. The untrue is about what is legally required and outside of the control of the libeled individual. The reviewer with the problem can be identified because he did not do what was required by the authorities, but is not using his correct name.

Is there another place other than "questionable content" to ask that a review be taken down. Responding to the content with the truth might be just but hardly appropriate.

Did you get any kind of response from Yelp?

They pulled it based on colorful language, the user re-posted a similar but not as colorful post, I've buried it with other reviewers. Addressing the legal aspects in another review, as a people who buy XYZ should know.

Post contacting them one gets placed on the sales departments lead list.

I wish there was a better way to prove the efficacy of a report, and to report problems.

Little known tidbit, yelp is latin for libel.
